The Courtot lab is located at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research, in downtown Toronto. Together with the OICR software engineering team they form the Genome Informatics program, led by Dr. Courtot. If you are interested in knowledge representation, data standards and integration, big data management and sharing, and open science please get in touch. We are always interested in new projects, collaborators or lab members.

Students

Before joining the Courtot lab graduate students must be accepted in a graduate program at the University of Toronto in the Department of Medical Biophysics (PhD or MSc programs)

Required qualifications: Admission to one of the graduate programs above. Some computational background, e.g., experience in programming. Desired qualifications: Experience or coursework in computational biology. Experience in Python and Unix-like environments.
